Shapes and balls

Liam was in a good mood tonight, and surprised us with two things that we never thought he could have done.

The first was with the computer. I know he is always keen to use it, but he must really take in what goes on because we put one of his games on tonight and he was glued to it. It's a CD with a whole lot of games for kids his age and a bit older, and one of them is all about dragging and matching the shapes. After me showing him a few times what to do, he was into it, no help whatsoever. Dragging shapes, fitting them in with the patterns etc etc and looking VERY confident with the mouse.
It's frightening just how good he is given how little time he has spent practising. By the age of 10 he will probably be building his own pcs at this rate.

The other thing he has seen is me sitting on my big ball (thrown away a chair, now sit on a gym ball as it's better for my back), so he got the idea that he might sit on his ball and copy. So sure enough, he got the bouncy ball and sat on it, thought he was pretty cool just like daddy ;)

Not to mention the dancing to music yet again.

I am thinking we might get another scanner to replace the crapped out one I have, so we can put images of his paintings and playcentre work up online for all to see.
