Liam is the new Dancing Queen or should i say Man. He is very good at following moves from the kids dancing on the dvd-does abit of heel pokering to the country dance!
I have also noticed that he notices little things that u wouldn't expect him to-like he'll see a star in a picture that it will take u ages to find or a road way sogn driving past. He also relates that Yellow Pages logo to Auckland as Reuben said it was the Auckland Yellow Pages so everytime he sees that logo-if even for a split second he says'Auckland' !

Liam made a little friend today with a preying mantis. He picked it up and carried it around and put in on the lounge and was saying 'c'mon c'mon ' telling it to move, rather cute.
He also grabbed me by the sleeve and was pointing to the trains dvd's murmuring about them-i gave him one of them and he kept giving it to me saying 'trains'-i think maybe he was trying to tell me something.

We took Julian to the pools out Helensville way-i can never remember the name!
They were thermal pool and had outdoor water slides too. Liam and Reuben actually went on the 'big' slide-yes the big one..and i only went on the slightly smaller one-there wasn't that much difference actually as they were both about the same height.

Liam i have noticed tends to eat the crust off from around a piece of bread but will hand back the centre of to u-yes the yummy bit!!

On another note, he had a fall today running along the concrete in the garage area and got a graze on his forehead and under his nose :(

Today we went to snow planet which is an indoor snow arena built on a slope-to replicate a ski slope. People hire ski's and snowboards but people like me with younsters hire toboggans. Liam enjoyed it and wasn't scared at all. He enjoyed walking up the conveyor belt too. With about half an hour to go i stopped as his little hands were very cold as his gloves weren't water proof and he was quite upset!

We just got back from our train trip into the Waitakere's. It was a lovley evening. We started at the depot and went through numerous tunnels in our small diesel tram. They were quite snug as we each had our own little compartments-so the three of us fit well into it. There was a dam along the way that we stopped at and a picnic area nearby where we had dinner. Liam was abit grumpy as he'd had little sleep all day, but he ate dinner and patted our guides dog at the site.

We are going on a train ride tonight through the Waitakere's to look at the glow worm areas, dinner will be included. Should be good!

I went to the pool at Erin Point a few days ago with Joyce. Liam was able to walk around the edge of one of the pool on a ledge it had in it. He wan't too keen on going home after we got out!-water baby.

He still sees diggers and stars everywhere we go!!..and flutter flutter butterflies-he does this action with his hands and makes the noise.

Liam is alot more expressive lately. He says 'wow' when he's impressed with something which is usually a digger and today he handed me one of Reuben's train dvd's to watch so maybe he'll be a train boy too-diesel of course.
I gave my friend a couple of blank dvd;s to tape some Thomas episodes for me so that should be good.

He's also getting good at staying with other people and not getting upset when we leave-he even waves and says 'bye bye'..which is a good thing!
